lexaisourhero:

We need more heroes like Lexa.

March 3rd is the day to join us on twitter tweeting “LEXA IS OUR HERO” starting at 12PM – LA! See our tumblr on desktop for more info.

A reminder of what we are going to do on Friday. It is very important to have everyone’s support this day. We need a big WW trend kru and it won’t happen if we don’t work together.

Let’s show the haters that we are still here, that we can make noise, that we matter. That we won’t ever forget and much less forgive that asshat for what he did on March 3rd. Tell the world why Lexa is so important and why what happened that night is something no one should ever forget.

They are already hoping we fail, they are mocking us, dismissing the importance of Lexa and our fight. We cannot let that happen, so please be ready to trend and if you can’t be sure to use TweetDeck to schedule your tweets.. Remember that our Aussie kru will be trending March 4th.

We can do this Clexakru. Our fight is not over!

Reminder!

ok i read what you said about not mentioning lexa again it messes me up, so what would be something the show could do if they mention her like for clarke’s sake?

I’m not sure I understand your question so let me know if this response is off for you – I think the only thing worth seeing at this point, if you’re a Clexa fan and want some kind of resolution – is a moment where, possibly toward the end or at the end of the season, Clarke revisits Lexa’s room in the tower and finds the book Lexa had been reading.  It might be interesting or insightful to know what the book was (something that might underscore her character – or be a charming counterpoint – if she was reading Pride and Prejudice, for example. Lexa has Darcyesque characteristics, Darcy and Lizzy’s relationship struggles through misunderstandings, miscommunication, not unlike Clarke and Lexa).  Another option might be Le Morte D’Arthur (The Death of Arthur) – a classic telling of the Arthurian legend (Lexa also has Arthurian qualities – at least from a series 3 perspective).  Her ‘fatalism’ and belief that ‘death is not the end’ in relief here – Arthur dies, but is taken to Avalon to rest until he is needed again (Lexa returned in the series 3 finale when Clarke needed her).

And it would be heartbreaking, but full circle-ish if she found the drawings that she made, including the one (perhaps more) of Lexa, sketches of the Nightbloods, Polis itself.  A scene like that would carry strong emotional resonance, underline Clarke’s grief and loss and be the only physical proof of her time there, of their relationship.  It would even have been fitting if Abby had found these things and asked about them.

Even more fitting if these are kept safe somewhere, with a coda set in the far future where these items are found and wondered over.

Hope that answered your question. Thank you for writing.  🙂

demandbetter:

this is such an underrated clexa moment like we all notice and talk about protective lexa which is true, but no one’s really talked about why it’s important. Clarke’s face in the second gif says everything. She is scared. She’s 18 and she spent her whole life in a box and suddenly she’s in a foreign place and people are dying and they are at war and she’s right on the front lines and she’s freakin scared. and then there’s lexa, who she has feelings for and who she knows has feelings for her, fighting right next to her, strong and brave, and making sure she’s safe and protected. and you can see even through clarke’s fear that lexa’s support helps her. it helps her find strength and security and makes her feel like she’s not alone anymore. they can do this together.

and that’s what makes lexa’s betrayal later hurt so damn much. clarke truly believed that she and lexa were in it together, that they would fight and win together. “not everyone, not you. you should come with me to the capitol. for those we’ve lost, and those we soon shall find. no, you stay with clarke.”

she truly believed it was her and lexa against the world, until it wasn’t.

Yet another reason why the writers of this show suck.

They destroyed a great alliance just for shock value (having Lexa take a ‘deal’ that made no sense for her to take just so Clarke can be abandoned in the narrative and have everyone hate Lexa).  Waste. Waste.  Waste.

autistic-characters-of-the-day:

Autistic Character of the Day: Commander Lexa from The 100

((Stoic, strategic/mathematical thinker, distressed at anything that disrupts her sense of order, requires routine, might be seen as stimming (with her knives), has difficulty expressing emotion, is seen at least once overwhelmed by her feelings/stress to the point of a breakdown))

Thanks for adding her to your list.  She’s one of the most audience-hailed autistic characters I’ve ever come across.

unicyclehippo:

anyway i was just thinking abt clarke & lexa in the context of like, aus? & soul mates & stuff like that & they’re really the only pairing that i’ve ever felt compelled to be like yeah this is possible They Are Soulmates, if there are parallel & alternate universes i would anticipate that in their reality they would be a couple in each of them bc like. when u think abt it, the odds of them ever meeting & the odds of them looking past every reason to kill the other or whatever, the odds of them ending up as a couple are so so sO slim. except. EXCEPT if u consider the fact that they felt so much for the other?? like if its just an ordinary love then idk maybe they would have ignored it entirely?? maybe nothing would have happened?? but like they felt something that couldn’t be denied or ignored & i’ve never seen that before?? not in a way that actually Meant something to me?? so like. when u consider the odds of them ending up together, realistically they are very small but then when u factor in this way that they feel for the other, then its literally like the odds are close to 100% theres no way that they aren’t soulmates

What the fans saw vs. what the show actually gave.

The potential wasted because it wasn’t the story they were telling.

Bah humbug.

Thank you so much for answering my Lexa questions! will you post your analysis soon? I also wuld like to know if you think Lexa will be brought up this season? even a little? i cant’ believe theyd just forget her.

You are welcome and I am still working on it (though I’ve been posting bits of it here and there, so…).  I’m sure ‘Heda’ will be brought up, as an important figure in Grounder society, finding a new one might hold some narrative time (but who knows).  I cannot picture Lexa even being mentioned.  We might get a hint of Clarke in mourning, but it will be generalised, as there is so much to mourn for. Unlike Octavia, who wears Lincoln’s tattoo as war paint, I don’t even think Clarke will be in possession of the ‘flame’ for long, much less keep any other memento. I’d like to be wrong, but if Jroth won’t even discuss Lexa, I doubt he’ll write about her any further.  Spiting the audience that gave him so much would not surprise me.
