URGENT

princess-of-positivity:

I’m honestly in tears. I am incredibly upset, I am shaking, I am furious. I need this post to reach as many people as possible, because I want everyone to be aware about this and we need to work together to help bring this young girl home safely. I have a lot of followers so I’m hoping this will spread quickly so more people are aware of this.

This is Kennedi High. You may have seen her circling through your dashboard. She’s 16 years old and she has gone missing, and so far everyone has pieced together through her snapchat story that something is really, really wrong. She’s acting funny, and recently her snapchat story has been updated: “I’m with this other man and he telling me I’m never going back home to see my family.” A lot of people think this may be a case of sex trafficking, and it most likely is, and I’m honestly terrified for her.

She’s originally from Baltimore, MD, though it’s said that she may currently be in the Mountain View California region. Please spread this if you can, reblog any other posts you find about her and get this story out. I’m absolutely sickened and shaken and I just want her to be safe. This is so important to me.

Not to mention, there’s been reports of over 64,000 black girls missing across the United States, and it’s most likely due to sex trafficking. 64,000 black girls. That’s just crazy. This is terrifying and needs more media coverage, this needs to be spread everywhere. We need to protect black girls. They need our help.

If you guys have any more information to add to this post or correct, please please feel free. I’ll try to add any other updates I find on the situation. In the meantime, if you can, please this reblog or any other posts relating to Kennedi and spread the word. Tell everyone about it. This needs everyone’s attention.

please get on this! Protect Black Girls! We as community have to look after each other.

She said that she was at a hotel in LA. People on Twitter were able to track her IP address and later found out that she was/is in Mountain View, CA. She has not responded/posted on Snapchat in a couple of hours. She said there’s two guys there, one who goes by the name of Tank. They’re black, taller than her (like 6 foot or something) and wearing white and gray. This is a picture of one of the men  She sent it to someone who messaged her.

Omg. BOOOOST

PROTECT OUR GIRLS!!!!

So I added her this morning (6:55am) March 10, and replied to her story. I wrote “oh wow you have a popsocket on your phone! I have one too!” And she replied “popsockers”. Then I said “I heard you say you’re in LA! I grew up here; how long are you here for?” And she hasn’t messaged back since. It’s now 7:24am. This story is making me uneasy

Please help 3 year old Isla get well so she can go to school

The Story

As some of you may know, I am deeply involved in a project on the Island of Koh Tao, in Thailand. Many of you helped me raise an amazing amount of money for my Not For Profit School, Koh Tao International Primary. There is however, one little girl that is missing from the school and now that she is old enough, we would really love her to join. Unfortunately, she is very sick and hasn’t been able to live on the island for a long time.

Isla was still 2 years old when she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in March 2016. After 8 months of torturous procedures and chemotherapy, baby Isla was in remission Dec 2016, but this only lasted 10 weeks. Her parents, Andrea and Jim had to face it all over again. Isla’s older sister, Lulu, had to be sent to New Zealand to be with family, as it had become impossible to live a normal life. How do you tell a 3-year old that they have to go through all of that again?

I asked Jim what his expenses were like. I thought I would just quote him here, because there is no eloquent way to put it:

“Our Insurance covers us for Inpatient… Outpatient we have to pay everything… All tests, transfusions & consultations. A blood transfusion is 47,000THB (US$1,342) a transfusion! Sometimes she needs 2 a week for a month. A Consultation is 8,000THB (US$228) once a week & post chemo toxicology test was 50,000THB (US$1,427)… The donor for the stem cell test is 10,000THB (US$285.50) a test, just to find the appropriate donor- we needed 3… The donor op is 10,000Euro (US$10,556) plus costs for inpatient fee… Heaps of vitamin supplements, health food supplements… Other costly factors not considered- Organic only produce fruit & veg, organic cotton clothing & natural cleaning products…We haven’t had an income for a year now & had to pay for Lulus school fees, rent in Samui & Bangkok we’ve spent 2.5million THB (US$71,408) from our savings & another 1.5m THB (US$42,844) in charitable contributions…”

It is a huge amount of money and the doctors have said that the next 12 months could reach the US$100,000 mark in medical expenses alone. It is getting increasingly difficult for Isla’s parents to focus on their daughter while they have this financial burden hanging over their heads. The confronting truth is though, by donating any sum of money, big or small, you are contributing to treatments that could save Isla’s life.

We have teamed up with Jo Garfein, co-founder and executive director of Cancer Gets LOST. Jo and I strongly believe in channeling fans toward the greater good, and in the power of positivity in fan communities. I have signed (and some of The 100 co-stars) some merchandise to raise money for Isla. 100%of the proceeds will be donated to this fundraiser! You can find the AUCTION LINKS BELOW.

I’m reaching out to you all once more for help. Any small amount of money you can spare could change her life and the life of her family. I want Isla at school where she belongs, please help me make it happen.

Love EJ

Hi everyone. My best friend, Quinn Charters (legally, Siera) has been missing since 5 pm on Sunday (Sept 18) I’ve notified the police, and we’re currently working together to find her. A press release is coming out today, but I want to write my own post. She was last seen on her way to the downtown area in Fort Sask. She told me she was meeting up with someone, although I’m not sure if she ever did. She sent me a text at 5:15 pm saying she was sorry and she loved me. I can only assume what she meant to do. Currently, she is still only missing. Quinn is 5’0 and weighs about 100 lbs. She was wearing a baggy black hoodie and dark skinny jeans. If you could please share this so people in the Sherwood Park and Edmonton area can see this and hopefully we can find her. If you know anything, please contact me. My cell number is 7807213556.

I have over 1000 followers and this only has 6 notes. please reblog so we can find her. even if you don’t live in the area, share for your followers to see, please. I’m worried sick

This is still current! For the Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan area in Canada. The news story was published on the 19th of September 2016! I hope she’s found!

Hey guys,

today, my grandfather passed away. He was in the hospital for 12 days and without machines, he probably wouldn’t have lived that long. If you have been following me for a while, you know that I had a gofundme a couple of months ago because of my family being in a rough spot and while we are slowly doing better, we are in no position to pay the 1000+ dollars that is needed to pay for my grandfathers cremation and burial. My grandma and my aunt don’t want to help and basically it’s just my mom on her own and i don’t know how she is going to pull this off. Life has already been rough and with my mom’s dad passing away it’s not making it any easier. It would mean so much to me if you could help my family out and put my grandpa to rest, even if it’s just 5$. Or even if you just spread the word.

Donate here or just spread the word.

anything helps.
