I wonder if we reached peak excitement for a new film ages ago. This Rogue One trailer is just…so serious.  It also diminishes the female lead somewhat, surrounding her with lots of male characters (any other female warriors in this film?).  I want to hear some commentary in the Asian community on how they feel they’ll be depicted (the wise martial artist type – is that considered inflammatory?).  

All those posh accents, too.  

Still, hope it’s good for all that. Can’t judge the film by a trailer (Ghostbusters was proof of that).
