Jeroen van Kesteren’s “Orphanage for Lost Adventures.”
Artist Jeroen van Kesteren’s ongoing project entitled “Orphanage for Lost Adventures” is a sculptural spectacle that I’m totally in awe of. His work is created completely from cardboard, aluminum foil and various types of paper to take the form of steampunk flying machines and intriguing architectural oddities. Check out many more photos of his work on Pinterest.
Thanks to @blue-kiko for sharing this. 🙂
Hey doc are all the steampunk tweets in the flame and dame? i really love the steampunk aesthetic so cool n obligatory question if you’ll update this weekend?
Those are just inspiration, not to be taken too literally. I love some of the details as well, but it’s not an overt steampunk-theme (for one thing, it isn’t a Victorian setting). I hope to update on Sunday sometime. Thanks for writing. 🙂
