Many thanks to @steklir for tagging me about listing ten songs from my writing playlist.  This list does not necessarily reflect music that would be included in the story itself, just finding inspiration.  Also – there’s more than ten songs.

Hi Doctor! I just finished rereading The Flame and want to know if Clarke remembers Lexa from when she was a little girl and she rescued her? Will this come up again? I enjoy the connections between the two but it worries me that Lexa maybe aware of them and not tell Clarke. Like why not tell her when they first meet? Is this going to hurt Clarke later? I kind of hope clarke isnt always needing rescue either tho she seems pretty tough. Great story so please update soon. :-)

Clarke remembers ‘someone’ who rescued her and may even know or think it might have been Lexa, but that was a horrifying moment for her where she nearly lost her mother, so that memory isn’t one she likes to dredge up.  I think she might learn the truth in the future.

Lexa has not told Clarke anything yet since they have just met and pushing herself into Clarke’s life isn’t something Lexa is keen on doing.  She hasn’t been keen on becoming too involved with anyone – if only to keep them safe (never mind Clarke is already in danger via her connection to Raven).

Clarke is VERY tough, and unapologetically herself. She has sacrificed some for her mother’s sake, though and it has made her a little bitter.

Thank you for reading and your great questions.

Welcome back!! gotta say i was worried you were gona delete so glad you didnt. Are you over the flu? I think we got the same mind on W.W. R u watching Fear? SO GOOD this year like a total SHOCK. Not sure im running with the teenager angst tho. Missing your story too pleaze tell us were getting an update on The Flame soon!

Thank you for the kind message – I’m not sure anyone reads this at all, so it’s always strange (in a good way) to receive messages reminding me someone does.  Thank you again.

I am over the flu, but now have to catch up on everything, so no, have not seen Fear yet, though I’ve heard very good things. I’ve seen some posts though that suggest AC being removed from the main action narrative (in favour of a male love interest) and have thrown out her agency in another round of that adolescent (and possibly suicidal?) angst? If they’re just reducing her to ‘the beautiful but sad girl’ with overdone lighting and morose stares into the distance – what a waste. Hope it’s not true.

I did catch something else though, that made me pause: one of the show’s American sponsors is a weapons manufacturer that supports the NRA.  If the show is going into making commentary about Dump’s racist policies and such (and I read they’ve been killing off a lot of POC characters), having such a sponsor looks rather awful.

Yes, a TFATD update is on its way.  Thank you for being patient and for reading, I appreciate the support!
