Give me a few minutes to watch for last minute bids to show up on the Trevor site, and then I’ll reveal the totals!!

You guys are unbelievable!!!

I’ll start from the bottom:

Assassins AU amassed a small $22 dollars, which was initially surprising but made more sense when you consider that anything with bullets flying around these two is bound to be controversial. That will be lowest on my priority list going forward.

Ahead of assassins AU was the Christmas AU, which garnered $25, also understandable because it’s April lol

We start getting into the big bucks now. The canon Fix-it had strong support for most of the auction, but it topped out at $320, which is impressive but not enough. It will still get written though! No worries to those of you who know how much potential the show had and threw away in S3.

Now, for the final two. It was a battle between politics au and masquerade au, the two fics that actually have already been posted so far. Masquerade AU was slow to start but eventually took a thin lead over politics with about an hour to go.

Politics surged back though, and with some impressive donations, Politics was in the lead with $989 with one minute left! Masquerade AU was too far behind, at $831

And then a last minute bid of $158 dollars came in…for masquerade AU.

That means that the total count is:

Politics: $989
Masquerade: $989
Fix it: $320
Christmas: $25
Assassins: $22

A TIE.

Masquerade AU and Politics AU tied, thanks to an anonymous last second donation.

Which means I’ll be updating both at the same time!

Like I’ve been saying, all of these fics will be posted eventually, so no worries if yours didn’t accrue the most. The best part about this was that you all amassed a huge $2,345 for The Trevor Project!!

This fandom is amazing and I’m so happy to be a part of it.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen something like this – such a wonderful idea, all for a great cause – and an amazing number.  

Well done, @centuriesofexistence – I hope this is a trend that other creators follow.

Clexa Fic Auction!

Of sorts!

A little bit ago, someone jokingly suggested I set up some sort of auction for my next fic update–the LGBT Fans Deserve Better auction has been hugely successful and people wanted to keep the mood goin. Even though they were kidding, I figured it might be a fun game to play, so I decided to put together a sort of poll/auction/fundraiser thing!

I currently have five projects in the works. I’ll describe them below, but essentially, the game is that you donate some money to the Trevor Project Fundraiser, and add a comment indicating which fic you’re donating for. The donation can be as low as a dollar. When the “auction” is over, I’ll add up the totals and whichever fic got the most money donated for it, I’ll update next!

For example, if you donate $5 dollars to Fic #1, and two other people donate $3 each to Fic #2, then Fic #2 will be in the lead with $6 total. 

Essentially, for the next 24 hours, one dollar donated to the Trevor Project= one vote for the fic you want. More dollars=more votes. Of course, that does mean that the wealthier Clexa fans among us will have more influence, but I promise you’re not losing out on anything if you can’t donate or can’t donate very much. All of these fics will be posted eventually; you’re just picking the one you want next.

projected word count: 60k+, 5 chapters
summary: Clarke and Lexa are damn good contract killers. The best in the business. Too bad they both have the same target.


#5 | canon fix it fic, chapter 1

projected word count: 50k+, 5 chapters
summary: the season 3 that I wanted. No AI chip, no ALIE, no Pike. Just the Ice Nation vs Polis/Trikru/Arkadia story that should have been. A season rewrite starting from the bow.
