I don’t know what’s happening right now with OITNB fandom accusing Clexa fandom of not making a big deal about Poussey’s death on OITNB. My Twitter is *full* of Clexa fans who are incensed about Poussey and def making a big deal out of it. I think basically one person here on Tumblr who has a bunch of followers/defenders has made the Clexa fandom look terrible. That blogger definitely does not represent the Clexa fandom that I’ve experienced.
I strongly suggest unfollowing people who try to make the case that Poussey isn’t BYG and/or those who would downplay the fact that she’s also a WOC.
This has been a devastating season for LGBTQ+ and for POCs, fictional and in real life. No one should be undermining the importance of what is going on.
