Hi doc will you continue your story? I dont mean to add pressure or anything i know some writers hate that so please just ignore this if this is stressful or anything! its a really good story and i just hope you finish! thanks!

I just answered on this, but yes, I will continue the story.  A little side tale is coming, first via the Strangers on a Train prompt.  It is set in the same universe, but exists slightly outside of the main story.  Very glad you’ve enjoyed it so far and thank you for writing.  X

i miss the flame and the dame soooo much! come back!!!!!

I’m so sorry to keep you waiting.  Real life keeps getting in the way.  I’ve got a side-story from the ‘strangers on a train’ prompt that I’ll be posting by this weekend.  Hopefully, I’ll have more time to work on the main story after that.  Thank you for reading and writing in.  X

OK DOC we’re getting a female Doctor what do you think of Whittaker? I don’t know her except Broadchurch. I hoped for Tilda Swinton cuz she’s a little weird or like Helene Bonham Carter who would be bonkers, I think.

I’m not that familiar with her, either, but I think that could be a good thing.  I do think Swinton and Carter could have pulled it off, but I don’t think they were ever in the cards. They’re too well-known and it would be hard to separate their own eccentricities from ‘The Doctor.’

One idea I had was Michelle Dockery – before she did Downton Abbey, though. She was quite Doctor-y in Hogfather and I thought she’d be a strong choice.

I’m looking forward to Whittaker’s version and hope they keep Pearl Mackie as a companion – even if only part-time.

Cis men, both men of color and white men, seem to be the ones most keenly aware of how bad call-out culture is for our world. So eager to educate us all. Which seems strangely aligned with the fact that they are often the ones being called out.
I can say this. Calling people out is uncomfortable. It isn’t something that should be taken lightly. It does not bring me joy. I don’t think it is a solution for everything, but I do think that is is a perfectly rational, logical response to a culture that is still more likely to call a woman a whore than a man a rapist.
