Thank you for being here.

Thank you for being here.
I’ll be posting the first chapter later today for Clexa Week’s free day.

Thank you for the lovely message. 🙂
Still terrified, though…
It was Becca’s Batcave. Did we ever learn her last name? Becca Wayne, maybe? Or were they thinking of Tony Stark’s lab? Becca had a mint.
I wish I had time, and I may in the future – but, good news, Autostraddle just posted a list.
I know this is hard, but a person is allowed to have their fantasies and it doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else. So long as they are not harming anyone else, it’s best to leave them be. We can enjoy our headcanons and, believe it or not, not all beIIarke fans are toxic Clexa haters (and vice versa).
Where we get wrapped up in ‘drama’ is the socio-political context of the show’s queerbaiting, and failure to address this or engage with the fans they harmed, the homophobic taunting of the ‘blrokes’ and how this show’s content became toxic to many over it.
If someone is deliberately sharing so-called ‘beIIarke’ content with you to taunt you, I suggest you do not engage, just block. Blacklist content from the show. At this point, I’m fairly certain they’re baiting whatever audience they have left and you don’t have to fall into it. Take care of you. 🙂
If you want to send me a link, I’ll share it.
Just want to say though – I did participate in this last year and I understand why so many want to keep Clexa alive in the media – but this poll is just clickbait. There’s no reason to have Clexa on it except that they know Clexa fans will vote in droves and that’s just easy money for them. Easy for them to post the ‘winners’ online and, as we know, last year, they didn’t even hand out physical awards.
I don’t think there is any disgrace to the fandom if Clexa doesn’t ‘win,’ because the people behind this ‘poll’ aren’t doing it to support fandoms or issues concerning us. They do it for the money. It keeps people divided and all but permanently separated into their little niches and I don’t think that is healthy or good.
If it could be done in a spirit of fun, if the polls were done to raise money for charities – that would be one thing. But that isn’t what they are.
Sorry if this is ‘preachy,’ but I hate seeing Clexas being used AGAIN and I hate that so much seeming self-esteem or group-esteem relies on these things. We’re better than this.
So, I get that some want to keep Clexa alive in media, I know that has a level of importance, especially while the show is on. And peace and love to all who want to participate and find value in it above and beyond the reality.
I don’t think it’s terribly romantic? Being locked in a windowless cage for five years with at least 100 other people with limited resources, possibly poisoned food, next to no water? Also: 100 people is not a strong enough restart for the human race (were they factoring in making babies?). Also: five years for a deathwave of radiation to piss off and not leave any lingering problems (like a lack of plant life, animal life, etc. etc.? If it blows away the pyramids, well. Will Jasper leave them his ipod?)?
It does, however, bring us back to the title of the show.
If I finish it, the analysis is not on the show per se, but Lexa-related. The show is just overview.
